Traveling in style, how does that work?

Upon your arrival we will be waiting for you at the airport to pick you up and drive you to your first hotel. At the hotel we will hand you the roadbook so you can start reading ahead, but for the rest you will get the chance to unwind and relax a little and get used to the Mediterranean pace of life. We'll hand you the keys to your classic car for the trip, go over the specifics of the car together, which button does what, and you may feel like taking it around the block, just to see what it feels like. We will make sure there is a short route available just for this purpose, so you can also practice a little with the roadbook navigation. The next morning after breakfast you really start your trip back in time.

Route 1 - mar i muntanya (sea and mountains)

This route will start on the coast close to Barcelona, and will then take you into to mountains all the way to Andorra, before heading back to the coast again. A pleasant combination of experiencing both the great mountain views and curvy roads, and the open sea views and the rocky, hidden coves of the Costa Brava.

Route 2 - només muntanya (just the mountains)

This route will visit some of the same places Route 1 does, but instead of heading for the coast halfway through, you will go further into the Pyrenees to discover more valleys, peaks, winding roads and majestic views. In summertime you could go for some nice long hikes in Catalonia's only national park Aiguestortes, enjoy rafting, mountainbiking, etc; in wintertime you could go skiing, sledding or snowshoe walking with a guide.

route 3 - Vi (wine regions and tarragona)

You will start out in opposite direction and start going south from Barcelona. First you come across the Penedes wine region, which largely overlaps with the Cava region. Later on you will also visit the Costers del Segre and Priorat regions. You can visit some of the smaller wine houses we know and have a look behind the scenes of how some of the best wines in the world are being made. Also you'll pass by Reus, the birthgrounds of Gaudi, and you'll  visit the beautiful city of Tarragona with its Roman remains.

Duration - 8 or 12 days?

All routes are available as an 8 day route or a 12 day route. The longer version is basically the same route, but you will stay longer in certain spots to give you more time to explore and go sightseeing, and of course more time to relax. You are on holiday after all!

specials

All our routes can be extended almost any way you want. For example, a few days at the beginning or end of the route in Girona, Barcelona or on the coast can complement your trip very nicely. Please contact us for more information.
